Who it is for

Feeder operators and charterers

You charter hulls in and sell their capacity out of Jebel Ali, Khor Fakkan or Sharjah, and today the voyage lives in a spreadsheet and the money lives somewhere else.

Shipping agencies and NVOCCs

Disbursement accounts, principal statements, laytime, claims and customs entries, with the accounting underneath rather than beside it.

Groups with a CFS shed

Several licences, consolidation, storage and demurrage billed tier by tier, across companies in one database.

Who it is not for. A pure vessel owner with no chartering and no cargo; a forwarder with no vessel involvement at all; and any company outside the UAE — the tax resolver, the evidence gate and the qualifying-vessel chain all read the UAE chart of accounts, so half of it is inert anywhere else. A mis-sold vertical is worse than an unsold one.

What it does

Vessels and chartering

Vessels with their certificates and expiry dates, charters with their type, rate and duration, hire instalments, off-hire, bunkers, and the owner statement that comes out of them.

Voyages and port calls

Voyages with their port calls, hire allocated across them, a period cut-off, and a profit and loss per voyage and per vessel.

Freight jobs and documentation

Jobs and their charges, bookings, bills of lading, manifests and delivery orders. Originals of a bill of lading are counted, and no URL can produce one — only the button that counts them.

Agency

Disbursement accounts and principal statements, laytime, claims, and customs entries.

The CFS shed

A warehouse flagged as a container freight station, the monthly storage run, and demurrage, detention and storage charged tier by tier — with the total footing.

The customer portal

Your customers follow their own containers and read their own documents. They cannot read a margin, a cost, or another customer's shipment.

The UAE half, which is the part nobody else ships

  • Zero-rating evidence is enforced at posting, not merely warned about: an invoice claiming a zero rate it cannot evidence does not post.
  • The AED block on a foreign-currency tax invoice, with the rate applied, as Article 59 requires.
  • The obligations are listed on a dashboard that reads the dates the suite already computes. It lists them; discharging them is still yours.
  • Every legal claim cites a primary document snapshotted into the repository with its capture date and checksum. The module implements a documented reading of the law. It does not advise, and nothing here is a legal opinion.

English, Arabic and Persian

The whole module is complete in Arabic and Persian — every screen, every field, every report — measured against a freshly regenerated template on a database with both languages actually loaded, not against a stale catalogue.

What it costs

Odoone Marine (Start) AED 599 per company per month on the Start tier, excl. VAT. Includes 3 extra users: 6 in all, for AED 748 a month all-in, excl. VAT.
Odoone Marine AED 899 per company per month on Business and Growth, excl. VAT, where the tier's own users and support hours apply. On Business that is AED 1,348 a month all-in, excl. VAT.
Odoone Marine — setup AED 6,000 once, excl. VAT, ADDED to your tier's launch package rather than replacing it: a shipping operator needs the whole generic launch and the marine half on top. It includes 2 90-minute remote trainings.
Odoone Marine — switch offer AED 4,000 instead of the setup, excl. VAT, for the first 10 operators moving from another system, until 2026-12-31. Requires permission to be named as a reference and an export of the fleet, charters, containers and tariffs from that system.
Odoone Marine — three years prepaid The tier base fee and the Marine line for 36 months, invoiced once at 25 months' list: AED 18,700 on Start, excl. VAT; AED 33,700 on Business, excl. VAT. Non-refundable.

The Marine line is per COMPANY, not per database: a second UAE entity running Marine is a second line at AED 899, excl. VAT. A company in the same database that does not run Marine is not charged for it.

Your instance is hosted in the EU by default; hosting in the UAE is available as an add-on.

What it is not

  • It stores and lists vessel positions from a feed you supply. It draws no chart.
  • The position feed is yours: Odoone consumes one through the inbound API and never resells a data subscription.
  • It is not a replacement for a voyage-management system costing tens of thousands of dollars a year, and we do not claim it matches one. Ask us for the honest comparison and we will send it.
  • Electronic invoicing is a separate Odoone app. Marine runs alongside it.
