What you will be able to do when you finish: enable and explain the three scheduled actions that move documents in and out of your system, set the three retry parameters deliberately instead of accepting whatever is there, read the E-Invoicing Status report the way an auditor reads it, tell an ASP outage apart from a data problem inside the first five minutes of an incident, and run a daily check that keeps a month from closing on a surprise.

Who this is for. You already have the feature switched on, an ASP account that tests Verified, and invoices that generate and validate. Course 3.2 covers that ground. This course is the part nobody demonstrates in a sales meeting: what happens after a document is generated and validated, who moves it onward, what the system does when it fails, and what you look at on a Tuesday morning. It is written for the person who will own e-invoicing operationally once it is live.

How to follow along. Every screen is named exactly as it appears, in the order you click it. You will need a user in the UAE E-Invoicing → Manager group for the scheduled actions and the credential fields; everything else works with User. Where the module guide does not publish a value — the shipped interval of a scheduled action, the default retry settings — this course says so and tells you where to read your own, rather than printing a number that might not be yours.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. The legal figures repeated in this course were verified against their primary sources on 18 August 2026 and are taught in full in course 3.1.

حقوق و دستمزد امارات: ساختار، اضافه‌کاری و لایه‌های مرخصی

حقوق و دستمزد امارات: ساختار، اضافه‌کاری و لایه‌های مرخصی

What you will be able to do when you finish: opt a contract into UAE payroll deliberately rather than by accident, read the seven company settings and say which of them are law and which are practice, compute ordinary, night and rest-day overtime the way Article 19 computes it — including the rest-day rule that most summaries get wrong — price a sick or maternity absence into the tier you actually recorded, apply the Article 25 deduction cap to the right lines and only the right lines, and read a bilingual UAE payslip and a final settlement line by line.

Who this is for. You run payroll for a UAE mainland employer, or you are the finance manager who signs off what payroll produces. This is an Intermediate course. It assumes you know what a salary structure is and what a payslip run does. It does not assume you have read Federal Decree-Law 33/2021, and it quotes every article it relies on so you can check the text yourself.

How to follow along. Every screen named here belongs to the Odoone UAE Payroll module, odoone_l10n_ae_payroll. Three neighbouring subjects are deliberately outside this course: social insurance — GPSSA, the GCC schemes and ILOE — is course 4.2; end-of-service provisioning under Article 51 is course 4.3; and posting payroll to the general ledger is course 4.5, because this module seeds no accounting entries of its own. One running example carries the whole course: an expatriate technician on AED 12,000 a month, and the August 2026 payslip we build for them line by line.

ذخیره‌سازی پایان خدمت بر پایهٔ ماده 51

ذخیره‌سازی پایان خدمت بر پایهٔ ماده 51

What you will be able to do when you finish: compute an Article 51 gratuity by hand and get the same answer the module does, set the two wage bases correctly and recognise the single misconfiguration that puts a company's statutory ceiling at half its proper height, run and post a monthly end-of-service provision, explain to a finance director why someone with four months' service is already accruing, provision untaken annual leave at the rate the law actually names, and read the end-of-service liability report — including the two sections it refuses to add into the total.

Who this is for. You run payroll or finance for a UAE mainland employer, and you own the number that sits on the balance sheet as end-of-service benefit. This is an Advanced course. It assumes you can read a journal entry and that you have run a payslip batch before. It does not assume you have read the Labour Law.

How to follow along. Every screen named here is in the Odoone HR WPS & End of Service module, under the Employees menu, with the settings on the company form. One thing to know before you start: both provision jobs ship switched off, so installing the module never starts posting entries on its own, and nothing in this course happens until you decide it should. WPS compliance and the SIF file are the other half of the same module and are covered in course 4.4, not here.

ثبت حقوق و دستمزد در دفتر کل

ثبت حقوق و دستمزد در دفتر کل

What you will be able to do when you finish: read a confirmed UAE payslip's journal entry line by line and say what every line is for, explain why an amount can no longer disappear into a silent Adjustment Entry, follow the order in which the seed finds an account before it creates one, name the six accounts this module creates and the six it reuses from the UAE chart, give the real reason 201004 is not used for net wages, and reseed a UAE company that was created after the module was installed.

Who this is for. You keep the books for a UAE company, and payroll arrives in your ledger as somebody else's journal entry. This is an Intermediate course. It assumes you can read a journal entry and know what a payslip run is; it does not assume you configured the payroll rules or that you have ever opened the mapping screen.

How to follow along. Everything named here belongs to the module odoone_l10n_ae_payroll_account, and every screen sits under the Payroll menu. There is nothing to install — the module is auto_install, which means it appears by itself as soon as both halves it joins are present. The neighbouring courses cover what this one deliberately leaves alone: course 4.1 covers the salary rules themselves, course 4.3 the end-of-service and annual-leave provision runs, and course 4.4 the payment side, where the net-wage payable is cleared against the bank. This course is about what the ledger receives, and nothing else.

چاپ چک و کالیبراسیون میلی‌متری

چاپ چک و کالیبراسیون میلی‌متری

What you will be able to do when you finish: set the Check Layout to Odoone Print Studio company-wide or on a single bank journal, point a journal at a cheque template, duplicate the Generic UAE cheque preset and calibrate a copy for each bank's leaf, say in one sentence why the bottom 16 mm of a leaf must stay empty, run a first-time calibration with one real leaf and one printer, and tell the difference between a field in the wrong place and a printer that lays the page down in the wrong place.

Who this is for. You issue cheques to suppliers and you print them on your bank's own pre-printed leaves. This is an Intermediate course. It assumes you already register payments by cheque and can find your bank journals; it does not assume you have ever opened a print template or held a ruler against a cheque.

How to follow along. Everything named here belongs to the module odoone_print_cheque — Odoone Print Studio Cheques — and the setting that starts it is a single field in your Accounting settings. The cheque lifecycle and its accounting, from post-dated cheques and bounces to the interim accounts, are course 5.1; this course is only about how the leaf is drawn. Have one real leaf from your bank in front of you, ideally a spoiled or cancelled one, plus the printer and the tray you will actually use — Lesson 4 cannot be done from a screen alone.

مالیات بر مصرف در مدل پلکانی 2026

مالیات بر مصرف در مدل پلکانی 2026

What you will be able to do when you finish: name the five excise goods that exist in law from 1 January 2026, place any sweetened drink in the correct sugar band and compute its excise to the fils, set up products, categories and the Excise Price Register in Odoone, record each of the four declaration types, work out what a Designated Zone movement does to your liability, file the monthly return on time, and tell the three causes of a zero excise amount apart — one of which means everything is working.

Who this is for. You import, produce, store or sell excise goods in the UAE, or you keep the books for someone who does. You do not need to be a tax specialist. You do need to know what a product record and a stock transfer are. Excise is a small tax with a large penalty surface, and most of the errors are configuration errors, not arithmetic ones.

How to follow along. Install the app from Apps → Odoone UAE Excise Tax, or with -i odoone_uae_excise. Every menu path, field name and button quoted in this course comes from the module's own user guide. The worked examples follow one sample drinks importer through one month, and every figure is computed from the rates in Cabinet Decision 197/2025, so you can check the arithmetic against ours line by line rather than taking it on trust. Your own products and prices will differ.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. Every legal figure in this course was verified against its primary source on 18 August 2026, and the instrument is named each time so you can re-check it yourself.

What you will be able to do when you finish: place any Emirati employee in the correct GPSSA cohort and explain why one date decides it, set the two employee fields that most often carry a wrong value for years without anyone noticing, read the employer's 15% and 12.5% as one figure rather than two contradictory ones, compute a GCC national's contribution at their home country's rates with your own share correctly capped, maintain dated rate lines so last year's payslips remain explicable, and configure ILOE knowing precisely whose legal obligation it is.

Who this is for. You run payroll for a UAE employer that has Emirati or GCC-national staff on the books, or is about to hire its first. This is an Intermediate course. It assumes you can create a payslip and open an employee record, and it does not assume you have read either pension law.

How to follow along. Everything here lives in the Odoone UAE Payroll module: the employee form's HR Settings tab, the UAE Payroll & Social Security group inside it, and Payroll › Configuration › GCC Social Rates. Company-level switches sit in Settings › Payroll, in the UAE section. The same module also carries the statutory salary structure, the overtime uplifts and the sick and maternity pay tiers — that is the other half of the module and it is course 4.1, not this one. Two honest caveats before you start: this course covers federal GPSSA only, because the module covers federal GPSSA only and neither Abu Dhabi's ADPF nor Sharjah's SSF, and every figure below is dated because Lesson 7 shows you a public page that still publishes the older ones.

انطباق WPS و فایل SIF

انطباق WPS و فایل SIF

What you will be able to do when you finish: read Ministerial Resolution 340/2026 the way the Ministry reads it, run a WPS compliance period in Odoone from Collect Payroll to Assess, tell the two 85% tests apart and know which facts belong to which, place an establishment correctly on the Annex 1 enforcement ladder including the conditions that most summaries drop, apply Article 4's eleven exclusions without inventing a twelfth, and take a SIF file from validation to a sealed export and a booked journal entry.

Who this is for. You run payroll for a UAE establishment, or you are the person the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation will call when wages are late. This is an Advanced course. It assumes you know what a payslip run is and that you have seen a bank transfer file before, but it does not assume you have read the resolution.

How to follow along. Every screen named here is in the Odoone HR WPS & End of Service module, under the Employees menu. One honest caveat before you start: the module ships no SIF bank layout, so the SIF screens have nothing to select until your bank's current specification is loaded as a layout record. Lesson 8 explains why that is a deliberate decision and exactly what to ask your bank for. End-of-service and annual-leave provisioning are the other half of the same module and are covered in course 4.3, not here.

چرخهٔ حیات چک در امارات، از جمله چک‌های مدت‌دار

چرخهٔ حیات چک در امارات، از جمله چک‌های مدت‌دار

What you will be able to do when you finish: say why a cheque waits in an interim account instead of landing straight in your bank balance, name the three interim accounts and the journal that records them, pick a clearing mode and avoid the double count the wrong habit causes, walk a received cheque from In Wallet to Cleared, deposit a post-dated cheque on the right day and know who may release it early, re-present a partially honoured cheque for its remaining balance, issue and void a cheque from a numbered checkbook leaf, and hold a guarantee cheque without posting a single journal entry.

Who this is for. You handle physical cheques for a company in the UAE — taking them from customers, writing them to suppliers, carrying them to the bank. This is an Intermediate course. It assumes you can read a journal entry and know what an interim account is for; it does not assume you configured this module or have ever opened its settings page.

How to follow along. Everything named here belongs to the module odoone_check_management, and every screen sits under the Cheques menu in Accounting. It depends only on the standard account app, and it needs the Python library num2words in your environment to spell amounts in words. Cheque printing and millimetre calibration are course 5.3, and this course stops where the ledger stops. One customer cheque runs through all ten lessons, from the morning it arrives to the day its last dirham clears.

چاپ فاکتورهای مالیاتی FTA و رسیدها

چاپ فاکتورهای مالیاتی FTA و رسیدها

What you will be able to do when you finish: name every form the UAE print pack ships and say which record each one prints from, set the two TRNs so that neither prints blank, give each VAT rate its own tax group so the summary breaks down by rate instead of printing one combined row for review, read the UAE VAT category column and fix it on the tax rather than on the form, duplicate a shipped template and make the copy your default, and say in one sentence why the theme bridge cannot change a figure on the VAT 201.

Who this is for. You print customer-facing documents for a UAE company — invoices, vouchers, a statement of account — and you would like them to come out right the first time. This is a Basic course. It assumes you can open a customer invoice and press Print. It does not assume you have ever opened a report template, edited a tax, or heard the word paperformat.

How to follow along. Two modules are in scope and you can follow the whole course inside your own database. odoone_print_l10n_ae is the UAE print pack: it ships the forms. odoone_l10n_ae_report_theme is the theme bridge: it re-skins the two UAE tax reports so they match the rest of the reporting suite, and it installs itself. Nothing here has to be configured before you can print, although Lessons 2 to 4 cover three settings that decide whether what you print is any good. Cheque layouts and millimetre calibration belong to course 5.3 and are not repeated here.
