راه‌اندازی لایهٔ امارات

راه‌اندازی لایهٔ امارات

What you will be able to do when you finish: confirm that a company is fiscally in the UAE and fix it when it is not, find the one page from which every UAE feature is switched on, read all twelve toggles and say which of them your business actually needs, explain why ticking a feature does not configure it, open the UAE Company Setting tab and know why it is empty, let per-company setup run itself without worrying that it will overwrite your work, and finish knowing exactly which course to take next.

Who this is for. You are the person who has just been handed a UAE database and asked to make it fit UAE requirements. You may be the owner, the finance manager, or the consultant doing the first setup. This course assumes no UAE compliance knowledge and no administration experience beyond finding the Settings menu. It is the first course to take after Getting Started with Odoone, and every other course in the UAE programme assumes you have done it.

How to follow along. Every screen, menu and label named here is quoted from the Odoone Localization — United Arab Emirates user guide, word for word, so that what you read matches what you click. The walkthrough company — Marina Ridge Trading LLC, a Dubai trading company — was built for this course rather than taken from a live database, so read its choices as an illustration rather than as a recommendation for yours. There is nothing to calculate in this course and no figure to type; there are only decisions to make, and the point of the course is to make them deliberately.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. This course cites no legal figure at all. It is the gateway to the programme, and the law arrives in the courses that follow it.

One sentence to carry through the whole course. Ticking a feature installs it; it does not configure it. Almost everything that stalls a new administrator in their first week comes back to that single line, which is why Lesson 1 spends its time there and why Lesson 3 hands you the map of where the configuration actually happens.

هر شناسهٔ اماراتی، در یک دفتر واحد

هر شناسهٔ اماراتی، در یک دفتر واحد

What you will be able to do when you finish: say where any UAE identifier your company holds is stored and which authority issued it, read a row in the Identifier Catalog and know from one column whether you may type a value on it, enter the registry-backed company identifiers without hunting for a field that does not exist, find every UAE identity field on an employee in one group on one tab, explain why the module validates no Emirates ID and offers no Unified Number field, and archive a superseded value instead of typing over it.

Who this is for. You keep, or are about to be asked for, the numbers a UAE company collects: the tax registrations, the bank references the authorities publish for payment, the customs registrations, and the identity documents of the people you employ. You may be the finance manager, the owner, the consultant doing the setup, or the HR administrator who fills in an employee record. No compliance background is assumed. Course 1.1 comes first if you have not done it, because a company that is not fiscally in the UAE shows none of the screens below.

How to follow along. Every screen, menu, label and group name here is quoted from the user guides of the two modules that make up this course, so what you read matches what you click. The walkthrough company — Marina Ridge Trading LLC, a Dubai trading company that also clears goods through Sharjah — was built for this course rather than taken from a live database. No specimen identifier value is printed anywhere in this course: a fabricated tax registration number or Emirates ID teaches nothing and invites somebody to copy it into a real record.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. This course asserts almost no law. Its one legal statement is that UAE customs registration is granted per emirate rather than federally, and it matters here only because it explains a piece of software behaviour.

One sentence to carry through the whole course. The module documents where a value already lives, and stores a value only where nothing else does. Almost every question this module attracts — where do I type this, why is that row read-only, why is nothing validated — is answered by that line, and the lessons below are the long version of it.

نماد جدید درهم

نماد جدید درهم

What you will be able to do when you finish: say what the Central Bank of the UAE unveiled on 27 March 2025 and why your screen still cannot draw it, install the module and switch the new sign on or off from one screen without uninstalling anything, answer a finance manager who asks whether this touches the VAT return, warn the rest of the database before you enable it, and clear the three ways the sign renders as an empty box.

Who this is for. You are deciding whether a UAE database should display the new Dirham sign, or you have been asked why an invoice shows a rectangle. Owner, finance manager or consultant — this course assumes no knowledge deeper than knowing what a currency symbol is, and no administration experience beyond finding Settings. It stands on its own: course 1.1 sets up the wider UAE layer, and nothing here depends on having done it.

How to follow along. Every screen, label and field named here is quoted from the Odoone UAE Dirham Symbol user guide, word for word. The walkthrough company — Marina Ridge Trading LLC, a Dubai trading company — was built for this course rather than taken from a live database. Where the new sign appears below it is written as the character ⃃ followed by the words "the new Dirham sign", because that character may not render in the font you are reading this in — and if you are looking at an empty box right now, you have met the subject of this course first-hand.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. No filing obligation is cited anywhere in this course, because displaying the new sign is a presentation decision rather than a compliance one.

One sentence to carry through the course. The sign is official, its Unicode code point is agreed, and the world's fonts have not caught up yet — that is one situation in three parts, and every lesson here depends on telling the parts apart.

تمدید مجوز تجاری و پروانه‌ها

تمدید مجوز تجاری و پروانه‌ها

What you will be able to do when you finish: say precisely what this module tracks and what it refuses to claim, configure a licence type with its reminder offsets and its document requirement, record a licence from the document in front of you, read the status ladder from Draft to Record Shows Expired without mistaking it for a legal finding, renew a licence so that the history survives the renewal, switch the reminders on and understand why they were silent, and recognise all four validation messages on sight.

Who this is for. You are the owner, office manager, finance manager or consultant who keeps a UAE company's paperwork current — the trade licence, the establishment card, the tenancy registration, the permits, the insurance policies. You need no legal knowledge to take this course, and you will not acquire any here: what this course teaches is a filing discipline, not a rulebook.

How to follow along. Every screen, menu and label named here is quoted from the Odoone Licence & Permit Tracker user guide, word for word. Two walkthrough companies run through the lessons — Falcon Ridge Interiors LLC, a Dubai mainland fit-out contractor, and Cobalt Freight FZ-LLC, a freight forwarder inside a free zone. Both were built for this course rather than taken from a live database, and every date in them is a date read off a document rather than a term anyone should generalise.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. This course states no validity period, no fee, no fine and no renewal deadline for any authority — not because the subject is unimportant, but because those terms differ by Emirate and by free zone and no single national rule exists to quote. The body that licensed you is the only source for yours.

One sentence to carry through the whole course. Record Shows Expired means the expiry date you entered has passed — nothing more. It is not a finding, not a penalty and not a statement about your standing with any authority, and reading it as one is the most consequential mistake you can make with this module.

دفتر مالک ذی‌نفع واقعی — UBO

دفتر مالک ذی‌نفع واقعی — UBO

What you will be able to do when you finish: name the two registers UAE law requires and the third disclosure that lives inside one of them, set the threshold and the statutory durations, create and activate a register, classify a person under the Article 5 cascade and record why, handle a joint holding without destroying it, reconstruct what the register said on a date years ago, log an authority request with its legal basis, and read the penalty schedule the way it is actually written.

Who this is for. You are the owner, company secretary, compliance officer or advisor who has to keep a UAE company's Real Beneficiary Register. You do not need to be a lawyer. You do need to know who owns and who controls the company, and you need to be willing to write down why.

How to follow along. Every screen named here is quoted from the Odoone UBO Register user guide, label for label. The worked example — an Abu Dhabi company called Al Mirfa Contracting LLC — was built for this course rather than lifted from a live database, so every percentage is yours to check rather than a number to trust. Your own structure will differ, and that is the point: this course teaches the reasoning, because the module deliberately does not do the reasoning for you.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. Every legal figure below was verified against its primary source on 18 August 2026, and the instrument is named beside it so you can re-check it yourself.

One warning before you start. This register holds dates and places of birth, home addresses and passport numbers of named individuals. Treat it the way you treat payroll, not the way you treat a customer list — Lesson 3 shows how access is enforced, and Lesson 7 shows how to answer an authority without over-disclosing.

مجموعهٔ تکمیلی مالیات شرکت‌ها

مجموعهٔ تکمیلی مالیات شرکت‌ها

What you will be able to do when you finish: hold Corporate Tax rates as dated windows that cannot contradict each other, decide whether Small Business Relief is worth electing and record the election period by period, keep a tax-loss register that survives an ownership change, run the free-zone de minimis test and know exactly which part of it no software can do for you, separate the two transfer-pricing threshold families that are constantly conflated, and read the DMTT flag for what it is.

Who this is for. You have finished VAT 201 & Corporate Tax, end to end and you can already read the Corporate Tax report from accounting income down to tax payable. This course is the rest of that module: the reliefs, the registers, the elections and the disclosures that sit behind the report. It is the advanced half, and it assumes you know what a tax period is.

How to follow along. The screens are under Accounting → Configuration → UAE Tax Reports on the live demo at demo.odoone.com. One caution before you start: unlike course 2.1, most of these screens are not seeded on the demo, so the figures in this course are worked examples computed line by line rather than readings taken off a screen. Lesson 1 tells you exactly what you will find there and what a correct configuration looks like.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. Every legal figure in this course was verified against its primary source on 18 August 2026, and the instrument is named beside the figure so you can re-check it yourself.

تولید فایل حسابرسی سازمان مالیاتی فدرال امارات

تولید فایل حسابرسی سازمان مالیاتی فدرال امارات

What you will be able to do when you finish: say precisely what the FAF is and which document specifies it, read the seven sections Odoone produces against the three tables in the specification, bind every tax in your chart to a FAF code, tell 0% EX and 0% EXT apart under pressure, run Validate → Preview → Generate & Download knowing which findings block a file and which never do, and manage the archive so the file you handed an auditor is still the file you can prove you handed over.

Who this is for. You keep the books for a UAE business, or you are the person an auditor's request would land on. You do not need to be a tax specialist. You do need to know what a tax, a journal entry and a partner record are. The course assumes the shared UAE tax configuration from course 2.1 is already in place, because the FAF reads your Tax Registration Number (TRN) from it rather than holding its own.

How to follow along. Install the app from Apps → Odoone UAE FTA Audit File (FAF), or with -i odoone_uae_faf. Every menu path, button and field name quoted here is taken from the module's own user guide. The worked examples follow one sample trading company, Al Quoz Industrial Supplies LLC, through a single quarter — 1 April 2026 to 30 June 2026 — and every figure is computed, so you can check the arithmetic against ours line by line. Your own figures will differ.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. The specification facts in this course were verified against the FTA's Requirements Document for Tax Accounting Software on 18 August 2026.

گروه‌های مالیات بر ارزش افزوده و مالیات بر شرکت‌ها

گروه‌های مالیات بر ارزش افزوده و مالیات بر شرکت‌ها

What you will be able to do when you finish: state the VAT grouping test and the Corporate Tax grouping test from the articles that carry them, tell a disjunctive test from a conjunctive one and explain why that difference decides membership, configure four thresholds without collapsing three of them into one, read the Condition Met column and act on what it names, open and close a membership window without hitting the overlapping-window error, and explain to a reviewer why a consolidation that eliminates intra-group transactions has posted nothing to any ledger.

Who this is for. You own, run or advise a UAE group with more than one company in it, and you have to decide which companies belong in which registration. You are comfortable with the VAT return and the Corporate Tax return already — this course sits on top of both. It is rated Advanced because the material is legal rather than mechanical: the module is small and the statutes do most of the work, so most of what follows is about reading two articles precisely.

How to follow along. Install the app from Apps → Odoone UAE Tax Groups, or with -i odoone_uae_tax_groups; it pulls odoone_uae_tax_reports automatically and reuses that module's Corporate Tax period model. Every menu path, column name and error message quoted here comes from the module's own user guide, and where the guide is silent this course says so instead of filling the gap. One ownership structure — a Dubai holding company and four subsidiaries — runs from Lesson 2 to Lesson 6, and every percentage in it is tested against both regimes so that you can follow the reasoning rather than take the verdicts on trust.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. Every legal figure in this course was verified against its primary source on 18 August 2026, and the instrument is named each time so that you can re-check it yourself.

تولید و اعتبارسنجی اسناد PINT AE

تولید و اعتبارسنجی اسناد PINT AE

What you will be able to do when you finish: turn UAE e-invoicing on and say what each of the three settings it reveals is for, create an ASP account and read what Verified actually means, apply the four-part scope test to any invoice without guessing, produce a PINT AE document both ways — Send & Print and the manual Generate → Validate → Send via ASP path — read a mandatory-field error and fix its cause rather than its symptom, and explain to a colleague why a transmitted e-invoice cannot be changed.

Who this is for. You issue customer invoices in a UAE business, or you own the setup behind the person who does. This is an Intermediate course. It assumes you can post a customer invoice and know what a credit note is; it does not assume you have ever heard of Peppol, UBL or a participant identifier, and it does not assume you have chosen a provider yet.

How to follow along. Every screen, menu label and button named here belongs to the Odoone UAE E-Invoicing module and is quoted from its user guide, so what you read matches what you click. Do all of it in Sandbox — that is the default, and nothing in this course needs a live connection to be worth doing. The neighbouring courses cover what this one leaves alone: course 3.1 is the mandate, the phases, the five-corner model and the penalties, and course 3.3 is transmission, retries and the E-Invoicing Status report. This course is the part in between — how an invoice becomes a valid, archived PINT AE document.
