- What does Record Shows Expired actually tell you? → That the expiry date you entered has passed, and nothing more — it is a statement about your record, not about your licence
- Why does no licence type ship with a default validity period? → Because the module asserts no renewal period as a legal fact; a default of "12 months" would lend an invented number the authority of a fact
- Your reminders have never fired. What do you check first? → The Licence Renewal Reminders scheduled action under Settings › Technical › Scheduled Actions — it ships switched off
- A trade licence is renewed and keeps the same number. What do you do in the module? → Press Renew, which creates a linked successor record; the same number is normal, but two live licences may not share one
