The Corporate Tax completion set

The Corporate Tax completion set

What you will be able to do when you finish: hold Corporate Tax rates as dated windows that cannot contradict each other, decide whether Small Business Relief is worth electing and record the election period by period, keep a tax-loss register that survives an ownership change, run the free-zone de minimis test and know exactly which part of it no software can do for you, separate the two transfer-pricing threshold families that are constantly conflated, and read the DMTT flag for what it is.

Who this is for. You have finished VAT 201 & Corporate Tax, end to end and you can already read the Corporate Tax report from accounting income down to tax payable. This course is the rest of that module: the reliefs, the registers, the elections and the disclosures that sit behind the report. It is the advanced half, and it assumes you know what a tax period is.

How to follow along. The screens are under Accounting → Configuration → UAE Tax Reports on the live demo at demo.odoone.com. One caution before you start: unlike course 2.1, most of these screens are not seeded on the demo, so the figures in this course are worked examples computed line by line rather than readings taken off a screen. Lesson 1 tells you exactly what you will find there and what a correct configuration looks like.

This content is general information for UAE businesses, not tax, legal, or financial advice. Rules change and cases differ — speak to a qualified advisor about your situation. Every legal figure in this course was verified against its primary source on 18 August 2026, and the instrument is named beside the figure so you can re-check it yourself.
