Open Accounting → Customers → Invoices. The demo carries posted customer invoices totalling AED 32,488.50, deliberately split across emirates and across tax treatments.

Open any invoice and look at the tax column. Standard-rated supplies carry 5%, and there is a zero-rated export in the set. That mix is not decoration — it is what makes the VAT 201 in the next lesson show non-zero figures in more than one box.

Note the TRN on the invoice header and the dirham symbol in the amounts. Both are what a UAE customer and a UAE auditor look for first.

Try it: duplicate an invoice, change the customer to one in a different emirate, and watch the tax recompute.
