Open Payroll → Payslips. The demo has a closed run of six payslips totalling AED 86,300.00, already posted to the general ledger.

Open one and look at the split. A UAE offer is quoted as a total package and the payslip shows how it divides: basic 60%, housing 25%, transport 10% and a small other allowance. This is not cosmetic — gratuity and end-of-service are calculated on the basic component, and the WPS file separates basic from allowances.

A payslip showing 100% basic is the sign of a system that was never set up for this market.

Then open Payroll → Reporting and look at the journal entries. Each payslip posted, and each entry balances. Payroll that does not reach the ledger is a spreadsheet with extra steps.
